Is Netservey yet another web survey solution?
Netservey is not just a web survey solution. We offers online tools, consultancy, data analysis and training for commercial and academic surveys. Our software can handle both online and offline modes (channels) which makes our offering unique.

I am not interested in a mixed-mode approach. Can I use Netservey for my survey?
Yes, Netservey although a mixed-mode solution, can also be used a single mode solution. It's entirely up to you to decide which modes to employ.

Which modes do you currently support?
We support web, email and postal surveys. We also provide a back-end response entry facility which can be used for structured interviews, based on your survey's structure.

Is there a difference between offline and online modes?
Each mode has its own advantages and disadvantages which depend on the nature of your project. One importnat point though is that as paper based surveys are tangible, they are usually considered of higher value than their online counterparts. The participants may feel obliged to complete a survey in order not to ‘waste’ the resources used by the researcher, for example for printing or postage. This is not the case with emails which do not cost anything and can be easily deleted.

Do you offer any other online data gathering services?
Yes! We offer a social networking data gathering solution. The solution exports data into popular formats. You can then use your favourite software to visualise and analyse your data.

How long will it take to print and deliver the questionnaires?
We awlays try to fufil within 24hours for recipients based in the United Kingdom. This mainly depends on the time you will place your order.

How many questionnaires can your technology print and deliver?
Our print partners can handle more than 20 million digital colour pages per month.

Can you print in colour?
Yes, by default we print on high quality professional digital printing devices. If you would like to save on printing costs then we can arrange for your surveys to be printed in black and white.

Can I send out follow up letters?
Yes, we offer ready-made templates for both letters and post-cards, that you can use to send personalised reminders.

Are there any arrangments for a Freepost service?
Yes, we can arrange for extra envelopes with your Freepost address to be included in each envelope. You will need to obtain a Freepost licence directly from Royal Mail.

Can I offer incentives to my recipients?
At the moment Netservey has no formalised way of allowing researchers to offer incentives and track these. This is a feature we will adding to our solution in the future, although no development deadlines has been specified yet. If you need to offer an incentive we can help you set a holding page and link to it through your survey.

We are a charity/non-profit organisation. Are there any discounts for our projects?
Yes, Netservey offers the enhanced solution to non-profit organizations for free. You are required to pay the expenses at cost prices for postal questionnaires, but the rest of the solution and a specific amount of consultation time will be provided for free. We ask you to pay the expenses in order to give access to as many organisatons like yours access to the solution.
